Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Architectural Designer to join our team. This entry-level, full-time position is a contract-to-hire opportunity, ideal for someone eager to grow within a small, close-knit team. The successful candidate will play a key role in various projects, collaborating with clients and team members to create exceptional architectural designs.

Responsibilities:​

Conduct client meetings to understand project requirements and expectations.

Perform on-site measurements and assessments for project planning.

Draft detailed floor plans and architectural drawings using CAD tools.

Manage and coordinate the permitting process with relevant city authorities.

Assist in preparing and submitting applications for building and other permits.

Contribute to various operational tasks in a small office environment.

Collaborate effectively with team members and participate in project discussions.

Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and design standards.

Participate in continuous learning and development related to architectural design and tools.

Contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
Requirements:​

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.

A minimum of one year of professional experience in a relevant architectural or design role.

Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and LayOut for SketchUp.

Familiarity with AI usage, including practical knowledge of tools like ChatGPT, and an understanding of how AI can be leveraged in architectural design and operations.

Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes.

Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and software.
